During the snowy winter season in NYC it is all about the Boots.
For the aesthetic reasons, functional reasons and the most important reason,
to look hot as hell!
Today I’m posting a run down on my five favorite pair of Boots.
I love to keep my boots on a vintage Pendleton rug,
it looks cool and it prevents my wooden floors from getting wet.
(see fashion can be functional)
Sloshing through the New York City streets in the pouring rain you need a trusty pair of Wellies!
Mine are lovely pair of by J. Crew

Must have BLACK ANKLE BOOTIES!
These and the following booties are a staple in my everyday outfitting.
These black Rag and Bone booties were a gift, and believe me I cherish them.

Madewell, o how I love their leather goods.
Every year I confessionally buy their new chelsea boot or cognac ankle boot.
This specific pair has a little heel giving them appeal of being casual or dressy.
( The Billie Boot, similar: Zara Ankle boot )
Ok, I understand most girls may not think these are the most feminine boots around.
But I think they are a diamond in the rough.
Absolutely amazing, with the red laces!
I found these hiking boots at a little vintage gem in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, called
10ft. Single by Stella Dallas
